Meet the Team

Jodie

Nursery Manager

I started working in the Early Years 10 years ago and have since gained my BA (Hons) Early Years Professional Practice and Leadership.

My passion has always been working with younger children, helping them grow, learn and gain independence. I strongly believe that children should learn through play by providing them with lots of new experiences. I aim to make each of your children’s nursery experience one to remember by having lots of fun.

Scott

Nursery Senior

I have worked in childcare and education for many years alongside bringing up my own three children. I have always had a passion for the outdoors and believe there are so many benefits to outdoor learning for children, this has lead me to completing my Forest School Leaders course, I am really excited for the opportunity to bring forest school alive for our students here at both Cheadle Hulme Nursery and Primary School.

Claire

Early Years Teacher

I am a qualified teacher and over the last 5 years I have focused on teaching in Reception and Year 1. I believe that in Nursery we lay the foundations for your child’s lifelong love of learning in a safe and nurturing environment. By being in such an environment, I believe we can help your children develop to embrace challenges so they become confident learners in their future journey.

I have a level 3 diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools. I have three years of experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school which specialises in the education for children with SEN. My aim is to be part of your child’s first step in their learning journey by enhancing their education through play.

Shannon

Early Years Apprentice

I recently joined Cheadle Hulme Nursery in September 2019 after working in Cheadle Hulme Primary School’s Kids Club. Prior to that I studied Health and Social Care and have three years’ experience working with children aged two and above. I quickly realised that watching children grow and excel was something I am extremely proud to be a part of and because of this I am currently studying to gain my NVQ Level 3 as an Early Years Practitioner.
