We understand that starting Pre-School or moving settings is a significant moment for any child. We will do everything we can to ensure your child settles in smoothly to Cheadle Hulme Pre-School.

We take our responsibility for your child’s personal and academic development seriously. We value strong home-school links and recognise the positive difference they make to a child’s happiness and success.

Admissions for September 2026 entry into Pre-School

The Laurus Trust is the Admissions Authority for Cheadle Hulme Primary Pre-School. The co-ordination and administration of admissions for entry is undertaken directly by Cheadle Hulme Primary School.
 
Children are eligible for our Pre-School the year before they start school, so for admission in September 2026 your child will need to have been born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023.
 
If you are interested in applying for our Pre-School, we will begin to offer open mornings for prospective parents/carers in January 2026 and February 2026. Parents/Carers will then need to complete the Admission Form which will be available from 6th January until 31st March 2026. Please note, that offers for starting our Pre-School in September 2026 will be made and shared by the end of April 2026.
 
Cheadle Hulme Primary Pre-School does not have a catchment area. If a tie-break is required to determine which child gets a place, we will refer to the criteria in our Pre-School Admissions Policy – see below. For any other policies, please visit our policies page.
